There is a solar energy experiment showing that black is a better collector of solar energy than white. Before the experiment, you have to prepare two tin cans, black and white paint, and room thermometer. First of all, paint the cans-one black, one white. Then, fill the cans with water. After that, put the cans in direct sunlight. About three hours later, check the temperature of the water in the cans and compare. You will see the temperature of the water in the black can is higher. After this experiment, you can know that black is a collector of solar energy than white.
